BitDefender Internet Security 2008 11.0 is an anti-virus/anti-spyware/anti-phishing/anti-spam and firewall for systems running Windows 2000 (with Service Pack 4), Windows XP (with Service Pack 2, 32 or64 bit) and Windows Vista (32 or 64 bit)
BitDefender Internet Security 2008 11.0 updates itself through Internet hourly. It monitor every action done by your computer, blocking viruses, spyware, malware, rootkits. It also provides a smooth gaming experience by reducing the system load to a minimum, temporarily reducing protection settings.
It protects against phishing attacks by filtering all accessed web pages for fraud attempts and reduces the risk of identity theft by preventing personal information leaks via e-mail or web.
The installation suggest you to uninnstall every previous antivirus program so it won´t overlap BitDefender. It also suggest you to deactivate Windows Firewall and use BitDefender´s firewall.
The program also features a Parental Control, that can be configured to block access to certain sites.
